Maps Added

In case you are upset with Google and Bing Maps for caving so quick on the Gulf of Mexico name stuff I’ve added nine maps websites or programs of various types you can use as replacements.  Some are phone apps, some are web based some are both.  These include hiking/cycling, turn by turn, trip planning, exploration and other maps for your pleasure.

Oddments

• Capital Letters (upper case letters) seem to have gone out of fashion.  This is not new, every few years it happens again and then upper case comes back for awhile.  Mix and repeat.  It’s like other web fashions of the past, colors – orange, black and or teeny tiny type.
• There is a guestbook discussion on 32-Bit Cafe.  Guestbooks became popular again recently and I think it’s a sign of health. • Magazines, ezines, zines seem to be catching on.  Something to watch for.
